Privacy Policy
Your Trust Matters
This policy explains how Idea Launchpad collects, uses, and safeguards information when you visit our site, submit an IDEA, or work with our team. By engaging with us, you agree to the practices outlined below.
Last updated: November 18, 2025
1. Information We Collect
IDEA & contact submissions
Details you provide through our forms such as name, email, phone, company, IDEA title, traction proof, ownership confirmations, and supporting documentation.
Operational data
Notes from roadmap reviews, call summaries, support tickets, and status updates so we can coordinate the Foundry build.
Automatic logs
Device identifiers, IP address, browser type, referring URLs, and on-site activity captured through server logs and privacy-focused analytics to protect the platform.
Fallback storage
If our email provider experiences an outage, we temporarily write your IDEA submission to a secure /tmp/idea-submissions directory until our team retrieves it. The file contains the same fields you entered in the form.
2. How We Use Information
Evaluate & deliver services
Assess the feasibility of your IDEA, match you to a Foundry tier, plan milestones, and communicate decisions or invoices.
Communication
Send confirmations, roadmap updates, invitations to collaborate, marketing content (if you opt in), and legally required notices.
Improve security & performance
Monitor platform stability, troubleshoot bugs, collect aggregated analytics, and guard against fraud or abuse.
Compliance
Maintain business records, enforce our agreements, and satisfy accounting, tax, or regulatory obligations.
3. When We Share Data
Service partners
We use vetted providers—such as Resend for transactional email, cloud hosting, analytics, or payment tools—to operate Idea Launchpad. They may process limited personal data solely to provide their services and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Foundry collaborators
Contractors or advisors who are directly involved in your build may see the materials necessary to fulfill their tasks under NDAs or work-for-hire agreements.
Business events & legal requirements
We may disclose information to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our contracts, or as part of financing, merger, or acquisition processes. We will notify you when permitted.
4. Data Retention & Security
Retention
Contact records and IDEA submissions stay on file for as long as the founder relationship remains active plus the period needed to meet legal obligations. Fallback files created during outages are stored only until we import them into our email queue.
Safeguards
We limit access to team members who require it, use encrypted transport, and monitor infrastructure for suspicious activity. No method is 100% secure, so we encourage you to avoid sending secrets that are not necessary for evaluation.
5. Your Rights & Choices
Access, updates, deletion
Email [email protected] to request copies of your data, correct inaccuracies, or ask us to delete certain records. We may retain information when required by law or for legitimate business interests.
Opt-outs
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time and may disable non-essential cookies as outlined in our Cookie Policy.
International transfers
By engaging with the MVP Foundry you consent to storing and processing your information in the countries where our team and infrastructure operate, which may have different data-protection laws.
6. Contact & Updates
Questions or concerns
Reach out at [email protected] for privacy inquiries, data subject requests, or questions about how this policy applies to your IDEA. We may revise this policy from time to time and will update the “Last updated” date above.
